Nightmare!!!

You'd think I'd have had have fixed and repaired enough laptops in my time to take better care of my own but as I packed my bag yesterday morning, something bad happened! I was on the bottom bunk and so the total distance from the floor was negligible but the way it clattered off the bed, onto the skirting board and finally a tiled floor could not have been any worse apart from the fact that it was switched on. The strange thing is that it continued to work all day but when I switched it on during the bus trip from Riga to Vilnius, it didn't want to know. This is EXACTLY the kind of situation I am travelling in order to avoid, C'est la vie!

So it looks like bye bye video clips from everywhere I've been so far but hello new 80GB drive that is being fitted as I type. There is also a further promise of loads of pirate applications and a dodgy version of office. Every cloud etc. ;-)
